Job Description: The Banqueting Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of banqueting operations, with a primary focus on conferences, hospitality packages, and live events. This role requires a versatile professional who can seamlessly blend sales expertise with operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

1.    Sales and Client Management:
•    Actively promote and sell banqueting services for conferences, hospitality packages, and live events.
•    Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their event needs are met and expectations exceeded.
•    Identify opportunities for business development, upselling, and cross-selling banqueting services.

2.    Operational Excellence:
•    Oversee the end-to-end operational aspects of banqueting events, ensuring seamless execution.
•    Collaborate with various departments to coordinate logistics, catering, technical requirements, and staffing for each event.
•    Implement and maintain high standards of service quality, ensuring a positive experience for clients and guests.

3.    Team Leadership:
•    Lead, train, and motivate banqueting staff, ensuring a cohesive and efficient team.
•    Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
•    Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

4.    Budget Management:
•    Work closely with the finance team to create and manage budgets for banqueting events.
•    Monitor financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and maximize revenue generation.

5.    Event Planning and Execution:
•    Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences.
•    Plan, organize, and execute banqueting events with meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications and Skills:
•    Proven experience in banqueting management, preferably in a similar venue or hospitality setting.
•    Strong sales and client relationship management skills.
•    Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
•    Effective leadership and team management skills.
•    Budgeting and financial management experience.
•    Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
