Warehouse Manager

Job Description

Mango Solutions Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Warehouse Manager on behalf of our client, a Wholesale Food Company based in Edmonton. 

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the depot as well as customer service, merchandising, staff, equipment and health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the day-to-day operations of the business.
• Managing and motivating staff.
• Staff recruitment and training.
• Implementing the company health and safety procedures.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Merchandising and stock management.
• Improving sales and profitability.
• Managing delivery vehicles and drivers.
• Maintaining vehicles and equipment in working order.
• Implementing company policies and procedures.

Attributes:

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

• At least three years managerial experience with proven success in the FMCG sector.
 
• A good working knowledge in wholesale or cash & carry business.
• Experience in recruiting, managing and motivating staff.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self motivated, committed, highly organised and efficient.
• IT literate.
• Passion and drive to succeed.

Benefits & Salary:

• Permanent full-time position
• Total package of up to £50,000 per annum
• £45,000 to £47,000 basic annual salary based on experience
• Ability to earn additional bonus up to £3,000 to £5,000 based on performance.
• 28 days annual leave (inc. bank holidays)
