Mango Solutions are lookingf for an Refrigeration Engineer on behalf of our client
Hours: 08:00am -16:00pm Mon-Fri
Location: Romford
Pay rate £150 per day
Job Duties:
- Maintain, service, and repair refrigeration systems across the depot and trains
- Fault-find and diagnose refrigeration system issues, including compressors and controls
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
- Perform brazing, soldering, and pipework fabrication for repairs and modifications
- Work on compressors, including replacement, repairs, pressure testing, and commissioning
- Handle refrigerants safely: recovery, charging, leak detection, and pressure testing in line with F-Gas regulations
- Ensure all works comply with health & safety and statutory requirements
- Liaise with site teams and contractors to ensure smooth daily operations
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records for compliance and audits
